Christine Louise of Oettingen-Oettingen (Oettingen, 20 March 1671 – Blankenberg 3 September 1747) was Duchess of Brunswick-Lüneburg. She was the maternal grandmother of Holy Romam Empress Maria Theresa, Queen Elisabeth Christine of Prussia, Queen Juliane Marie of Denmark and Norway and Tsar Peter II of Russia; the maternal great-grandmother of Queen Marie Antoinette of France, Tsar Ivan VI of Russia and Francis, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld; the maternal great-great-grandmother of King Leopold I of Belgium and the maternal great-great-great-grandmother of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom. ==Biography== Christine Louise was the third daughter of Albert Ernest I, Prince of Oettingen and Duchess Christine Friederike of Württemberg (daughter of Eberhard III, Duke of Württemberg). She married Louis Rudolph, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg at Aurich in 1690. They had the following children who reached adulthood: * Duchess Elizabeth Christine (1691–1750), married Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor * Duchess Sofie Charlotte (1694–1715), married Tsarevich Alexei Petrovich of Russia, Peter the Great's son and heir * Duchess Antoinette Amalie (1696–1762), married Ferdinand Albert II, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg The marriages of her three daughters were arranged by her ambitious father-in-law, Anthony Ulrich, Duke of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel.
